King Wisdom Mwongyera, popularly known as “Weird Pastor,” has become a prominent figure in Uganda’s entertainment scene, amassing a dedicated following of over 900k on TikTok and more than 100k on Facebook. Born on August 21st, 2001, at Rubaga Hospital in Kampala, King Wisdom currently resides with his parents, Pr Herbert Muliro Turyahabwe and Agnes Nampijja Muliro, who are pastors at the Heart Operation Church of Christ in the Galuwero zone of Luwero District.

The family had a matrimonial marriage in 2013 on December 15th in Luwero District. King Wisdom has two siblings: Aruho Special Gift, born on January 19th, 1995, and Ahabwe Muliro Favour, born on July 17th, 2003.

Wisdom’s journey to stardom began during his high school years at Luwero High School, where he discovered his passion for acting and comedy. After graduating, he rose to fame in Uganda through his TikTok videos, portraying the character of a “weird pastor,” which quickly captured the attention and admiration of audiences across the country.

Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Ndejje University, King Wisdom is in his final year of studies. Alongside his academic pursuits, he has continued to build a strong network of friends and collaborators, including fellow TikTok creators such as Jose Chakala, Cb Talker, Mikey Seems2Funny, Yash Popy, and Taata Kimbowa.

His talent and creativity have been recognized through several notable awards, including the prestigious “Best Actor of the Year 2023” at the Moonlight Bar Awards, “Best TikTok Group of the Year” for his involvement with the Tuli Bulala Group, and “Most Viewed Local Video of the Year 2023” with an impressive 18 million views at the TikTok Awards.

Beyond his comedic prowess, King Wisdom is also a skilled footballer and musician, proficient in playing instruments such as the piano and guitar. His diverse interests extend to hobbies such as watching and playing football, swimming, listening to music, and driving.
