After supporting Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s Thanksgiving event, singer Hajara Namukwaya, aka Spice Diana, has come under fire on social media.
To commemorate the reopening of the Uganda-Rwanda border, Muhoozi will host a concert called “Rukundo Egumeho” through the MK Movement on April 19, 2023, in Kabale district.
It’s rumored that some of the city’s best performers were paid to participate in the celebrations by providing entertainment. Spice Diana, who has confirmed she will attend the event in a promo video, is one of them.
Spice Diana can be seen promoting and endorsing the mentioned event in a video that is going viral on social media.
“I will attend the special border-opening thanksgiving on April 19 with Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba. I’ll play all of your favorite songs live with dot. Spice said in the video, “.
However, some music fans, particularly those who support the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, have not been pleased with her action.
They claim that Spice Diana supported an event that Muhoozi, who is viewed as the nemesis of some NUP supporters, had organized.
Since then, Spice has been the target of a barrage of comments accusing her of “backstabbing” Kyagulanyi. However, some people have found nothing offensive about her performing at the gathering.
