Muhoozi Can Beat Bobi Wine With A Ballot Paper – Mubarak Munyagwa
Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa, a former member of parliament for Kawempe South, asserted that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the president of the NUP, can be defeated in his own backyard.
This beating is about a secret ballot, not about flexing muscles. Munyagwa asserts that Bobi Wine would lose in a secret vote conducted at NUP headquarters in Kamwokya.
The former MP also criticized Bobi Wine for having little political experience. He has found it challenging to lead a rival political party for this reason.
Additionally, a blueprint from the Firebase crew was used to create the party. According to Munyagwa, this is the reason why Firebase affiliates control it to a large extent.
“If a secret ballot were organized between Kyagulanyi and Muhoozi at the NUP headquarters in Kamyokya, Kyagulanyi would likely receive four votes, including one from Zaake.”
“Kyagulanyi lacked extensive political experience and was relatively inexperienced in leading an opposition wing and assuming the role of a party leader. The National Unity Platform (NUP) was initially conceived as a plan by Firebase and is predominantly governed by the Firebase crew,” Munyagwa said on NBS TV’s Eagle program.
The NUP’s Trahan Kagabo, a member of parliament for Bukoto South, revealed on the same program that he supports Muhoozi. He acknowledged that he has been fascinated by the MK movement ever since he first learned about it. And he has shared the ideas he learned there with his fellow NUP MPs. He continued by saying that many of them would soon defect.
